How does a luscious spread of Afternoon Tea on a perfect sunny spring afternoon, in the company of loveliest girlfriends, amidst beautiful and luxurious ambience of Old Mill Toronto sound to you? Unsurpassable correct? Well, this is exactly how we girls spent our weekend.
Some of you already know these amazingly talented girls, whom I am so glad to have met through my blogging venture.
Pinky who is already famous amongst the home decor enthusiasts, is the author of a very impressive home decor blog Pinkz Passion. Pinky fondly says – “My blog is where I share my unspoken thoughts and creativity of decor, travel and some occasional crazy rants via my blog, intending to motivate and spark an inspiration to others.”
Dee who is pursuing her passion, is an artistic jewellery designer and a small business owner at Shubella. About Shubella, Dee humbly says – “Born out of a curiosity to see what I could create. I have always been drawn to one of a kind (OOAK) items – be it books, jewelry, what have you”.
The story of the three of us meeting up for the first time has the spunk of modern days! While we keep complaining about how social media has taken precedence in our lives, I am always amazed by how it brings like minded people on the same platform. So here we are, since the time we first met we seem to have hit it out of the park! We instantly bonded together and since then there has been no looking back. This lavish tea setting gave us ample opportunity to chat about everything we could think of, kids, husbands, life and of course our blogs!
The sumptuous Afternoon Tea at Old Mill Toronto made our gals meet even more memorable. If you ever are in or around Toronto area and want to spend some quality time, the 103 year old tradition of Afternoon Tea here is highly recommended. The ambience of this place is a beautiful blend of historical sophistication with all the modern amenities. Since the three of us have somewhat similar likings in decor we enjoyed the vintage settings. Here are some shots captured ….( please excuse the pic quality as we did not carry our bulky DSLRs so iPhone was our saviour)
Of course! How would we have not posed for pics ourselves, well when bloggers meet this is what happens 🙂
While the indoors of this place has been so tastefully done we cannot leave without a mention of the charming historical building…
As you can see it was a beautiful afternoon spent with lots of happy chitter-chatter, giggles and laughter….
Cheers to fun times with these uber talented ladies! And looking forward to more such memorable times ahead…..
If you are not following these lovely ladies already you need to jump right ahead and catch hold of them immediately!
PS: Most of the pics credit goes to Pinky! She is an awesome photographer !
If you enjoyed the post please do drop us a line, all three of us would love to hear from you. Thank you for stopping by….will catch you on the other side, until then … Ciao!
